Although the automatic response to this title may be to depict the song of the same name, naturally I went for a different approach.
I knew I would need to use white flowers for the design but wanted them to blend in with the remainder of the design rather than be a stark contrast, as white can often be, particularly with a white container.
Therefore my container is a silver coloured plate with a hessian and white wool covered double metal candle holder. Silver and silver-blue Christmas baubles are used as either decoration or water sources for the white roses. Three single leaves provide some foliage contrast.
Judges Comments: An elegant design with good simple lines. The foliage choice is not appropriate for the design – something long and thin such as flax or half a gymea lily leaf would have suited this design more.
