In the final design that is still using the single bunch of roses from our local store, I have reworked a square black ceramic vase with a tape grid across the top.

To change the dominance of the glassy black exterior of the vase, I have split a wide sectioned gold “Christmas” ribbon, securing it in separated sections to the vase with double sided tape.
